Let’s get married..yiipiii…!! yeah..but with who? I still don’t have my significant other yet. Can I just pick any guys out there and marry to him? Hahahaha..for sure my mom will get angry and throw me out from the family XD. I’ve been discussed about this thing with some of my friends, but unfortunately all of them are not single anymore..hmm.. I mean..they already have someone special.
Not having a significant others, some of my family members sigh and worry on how am I suppose to get married. Now I am 23 years old and they think it is the perfect time to start your own family. Should I choose my husband by myself or just let my mom or the other family members settle it for me? Hahahaha..yes..!! it’s ARRANGED MARRIAGE and we’ve discussed about this during our class with Dr.Jaya.
Well, I don’t really agree with arranged marriage. For me, it is my life, so no one should control my life and I have my right to choose my own path and the most important thing, I don't want a creepy guy as my spouse. =)
Yes, I totally agree with you. I don't want my parents to arranged a marriage for me. As you know I am single but not available. I'm hoping to have a choice for my own happiness. I did not say that our parent's chosen suitor are bad , but I have my own life and it is me who will live with my spouse and not them.
ReplyDeleteif we talk about arranged marriage, it is not all negative.lets take a look on the bright side. when we get married it is not just you and your husband. it is about both family getting together in hoping to build a better generation. so, maybe our parents can help us find a good guy and it is up to us whether to agree or not with their choice. the decision is within us. they just can help but decision is totally ours!
ReplyDeleteTo some extent, arrange marriage is good, but it also have the bad side of it. To live with somebody that we don't know, plus we don't even love the person is a risk that we have to take in arrage marriage. Personally, i don't like the idea of arrange marriage. It’s ridiculous. I’m the one who will live with the guy for the rest of my life so I think I have the right to choose who I’m with. Looking forward to find the right one =)
ReplyDeleteTotally! Arranged marriage creeps me out. I’m not saying it’s wrong for the family to choose your spouse, but marrying someone you don’t know is really scary for me. If I have someone to love, I’ll marry that someone, without waiting for my parents to arrange a marriage for me!
